Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions.
Rainer Maria Rilke (Bohemian–Austrian poet)

I must confess, if I were asked what my weakness is, this would be it. Patience. It’s easier said than done, believe me. For the past few days my patience has been tried and tested, in and outside of my home. Now, whether I passed or not, I guess time will tell.

I remember when I was younger, patience, being my weakest character trait, would also be my downfall. Acting out impatiently hurt both me and everyone around me. You’d think I’d have my lesson learned from many trials of this so called ‘LIFE’, but nooooo. Although, at the same time, I do try to use every opportunity to learn from it. It does take more than just my will power to succeed, but perseverance and willingness to learn.

Some say that patience is a virtue, and I agree, but I no longer see that around me. I’d like to believe it and live by it so that perhaps one day I can lead by example. Maybe I can use your help in that? Maybe I do know you, maybe I don’t. The fact is, you’re reading this, so I assume you’re interested. Here it goes; Patience BECOMES a virtue when it becomes a part of your daily life. When you, or me, learn to deal with various circumstances and situations around us. This can range from waiting for your food at a restaurant to your group wanting to meet at a not so convenient time. In any case, practice patient, and and once this skill is mastered, your life will be an inspiration to others.
